today when i got to the shop , there was a lovely big box waiting there for me

i couldnt wait to open it and when i did i just felt sooooooo happy !

i may be a tiny bit sad but red polka dots !hehe!

i had so much fun putting them out in the shop right in the window and made me so happy when

other people where coming in and where as happy as me to see them : - )

the jars would look lovely with home made jams in but i think even better with BUTTONS in

up earley this morning watering the plants and flowers at our cafe ! i do love being out side with the lovely smell of all the flowers is just a great way to start the day : - )

at our cafe we have a small garden where we sell lots of different planted flowers and veg boxes in lots of vintage boxes , watering cans , tea cups and so much more and it was my turn to go and do it ..

1st i walked to the post office to post some orders

then popped into my friends hand made soap shop in bath street and had a lovely chat then when to a very yummy cake shop to have after lunch

the yummy cupcake and a cup of tea just before i start some work : - )

that was fun , right i think one more cup of tea then start my work again .. ; - )

today i had to go to the shop to pack a few orders so i went in the morning so i could spend the rest of the day just at home :- )

for the next few weeks the shop is having a vintage kitchen look with a few fun crafty bits added in...

we have some really cute vintage home wear finds , tea sets , jelly moulds , tea pots coffee pots , baskets , and so much more , its so funny really how one little shop gets changed around so much and how im always changing the displays as soon as things are sold ... i think i may be a little mad : - ) tee he he

On the button side of things we have loaded some of them on to our folksy shop for you to buy we just need to do all the gingham buttons and polka dot buttons and a few other ones and they will be on our website from the weekend : - )

oh yes and we now have some cute new mini ric rack in lilac , candy pink , baby blue

the cutest egg cups ever

this is the work of lucy the lady who sells lovely hand made wooden crafts in my shop made me these to sell

and i think they are so cute i want one in every colour and i think i will have to get some by the weekend they will look so great on my dresser next to my collection of vintage tea cups and cath kidson cups oooooh i cant wait !

they have been painted and then diped in a sill so you can wipe them clean , they come in 6 different colours all cute ..hehehe!

oh my it fills like i have been away from a computer for so very long ! my computer stopped working the other day and i have had nooooooo computer and it was not nice ...hehe!

but i went and got a web book for now till i can go and buy a new computer any way any way ,

last week i got some really great new wool felt on the roll yesssss whole rolls of felt but we only got 6 colours to start with , but as i havnt had a computer i could list them online so we just put them in the shop and sold them but here is a photo of 3 of the best selling colours so you can have a little look before i put them on our website and folksy , but i must say that there is not a lot left...! a trip to the whole salers again YAY : - )

today my lovely mummy looked after the shop for the whole afternoon why we went to get buttons

we have so so many new buttons and i cant wait for you all to see them but they will not be online till tuesday evening as i need to photo them all.... i hope you are all going to like them we have mini mini buttons to very very large buttons oh what fun : - )

today i worked at my friends well being clinic and it was so much fun , got to meet so many new people and have so many nice treatments done : - ) then we it got to 6 ish i rust home to get making and pack orders i packed the orders 1st then had time to sit and make some new brooches here's one made from die cut embellishments from our website , david said it looks like a lily pad... : - 0

today was the day i had to make my self sit down and do some big crafting....!

i really do love making things but i can never stay for very long and make one thing ! so if im sewing i start thinking about soap making if im soap making i think about candle making .... but today i was (sort) : - o of good .. i did a lots of sewing and a lot of card making and im just going to make some candles now !

i had a good place to sit at home next to the window in the sun , got lots of craft supplies out , oh what fun : - )

I've spent the last few days packing orders packing button and packing embellishments too!
so when i went to the shop on saturday i felt very happy there just to sit look out at my lovely view and talk to all my lovely customers!

im very lucky that i have some really great people who sell there crafts in my shop aswell as just things i make

today was the start of moving my very little shop around.... with the help of the lovely david : - )

im so bad i never keep the shop the same way round for 2min's ! so this morning i got up nice and early and headed over to lily whites craft shop and started the work , here is a peep of some photos of how its looking , we now have a little baby corner , with the lovely busybee baby bits in !

im so sorry but im just loving the snow i am such a kid when it snows , i was very upset today that i didnt have my camera on me to take photos of the snow.. : - ( any way back to the lilywhites craft world ,

i have been asked lots of times to stock beads so we got a very small order today of beads !

also today i found out that we have a very large collection of large and x large buttons so im going to do some packs up and sell just mix colours of large buttons .! yummy !

im also just loving blue this month , even know i should be going all reds and pinks i just cant i need blue and here is some blue bits ...........

Today was a day of a bit of this and a bit of that in every room .......

i just couldnt stick to making one thing and making lots of it...

1st card making....in the kitchen

ok then soap making ... some lovely new lavender soap that just now needs to be cut into bars and packed.

then updating the website and emails..

then made some new kitty die cuts...have put some on cards

then last popped over to see the lovely pat (busy bee)

to pick up the new knitted bits she has made for the shop

they will all be listed to but from tuesday evening..

and i think it may be time for a bit of hand sewing now

Having a change around...!

after christmas i have been thinking alot about lilywhites shop and wasnt happy with the lay out , after much talking and plaining and latte drinking i made my mind up yes im going to move it ALL around ...
we have had so much snow in steyning that we couldnt get to the shop much this week so the moving around was done over a few hours here and there..

here are a few photos of the shop in a mess...
i will show you some new photos on tuesday night of the end result.
we have now made the craft supplie side more bigger so you can have a good old look at all them supplies , felt has moved home and ribbon now has a shelf unit
